Sunday Update: 10/5/2025

Thank you for another amazing week at Lake Nona High School!

All I can say is WOW, our Fall Production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream was absolutely amazing! We truly have the most talented students, and I could not be more proud of their hard work and creativity.

We also kicked off our very first Lion Link activity, giving students a chance to build stronger connections across campus. It was a great success, and we’re excited to continue this tradition with one Lion Link activity each quarter this year.

Looking ahead, we have another incredible week in store! We’ll be celebrating our Hispanic Heritage Festival, our Senior girls' volleyball athletes, hosting a free PSAT/SAT opportunity for students on campus, and closing out the week with our PINK OUT football game to support breast cancer awareness.

And get ready, Homecoming Week (HOCO) is just around the corner! We invite all of our Lion alumni to return home and join us in the stands alongside our current Lions. Let’s make it a true celebration of our school spirit and community PRIDE.

Let’s make it another awesome week in Lake Nona, where every day, we continue to Leave Our Legacy!

I hope everyone has a great rest of their evening and as always, GO LIONS!

Thank you,

Mrs. Nikki Campbell

POTENTIAL REZONING MEETINGS:

A document outlines the Fall 2025 Rezoning Timeline, including meeting dates and times.

A few reminders:

  • Though we encourage you and your student to follow social media accounts, ParentSquare is the official LNHS communication platform.
  • SchoolCash Online has replaced SchoolPay, please set up your account if you have not yet.
  • Students eat for free this school year (lunch and breakfast)
  • Xello is the college and career platform that OCPS will continue to use grades K-12. All schools will implement Xello lessons this school year. At LNHS we will do this through their ELA classes.
  • The Code of Student Conduct requires that wireless communications device(s) be silenced and put away (in a backpack or purse) during the school day while on campus, including lunchtime and transitioning between classes. This includes cellphones and earbuds/headphones.
  • Please remind your student to use the designated crosswalks when arriving and leaving campus, as the school cannot monitor student behavior off school grounds.
  • Students must have a student parking permit to park on campus. Please visit our school website to apply and purchase.
