Parking Permit Timeline:

  • July 6: Google Form opens for Seniors ONLY
  • July 13: Google Form opens for Sophomores and Juniors

Please remember that submitting the application does not guarantee a parking permit until all required documentation has been approved and payment has been received.

A few important reminders for our student drivers and families:

  • Students must be enrolled in at least one class on the Lake Nona High School campus to be eligible for a parking permit.
  • Student parking is a privilege, not a right. Parking privileges may be suspended or revoked at any time for violations of school or district expectations or breaking the law. No refunds will be issued for suspended or revoked permits (or for any other reasons).
  • Permits must be displayed in the manner in which they are intended while an approved vehicle is parked on campus.
  • Parking permits will be sold until all available spaces are filled.
  • Vehicles parked on campus are subject to search in accordance with OCPS policies and Florida law.
  • Lake Nona High School does not provide video footage related to parking lot incidents and cannot assume responsibility for theft, vandalism, accidents, or other incidents occurring in the parking lot. Students should always lock their vehicles and avoid leaving valuables inside.

The Legacy Lot – Senior Parking Spot Painting

Senior Parking Spot Painting

Senior Painting Eligibility and Information

One of the most anticipated senior events is here!

Thanks to the completion of our campus air conditioning project and a smaller senior class this year, Lake Nona High School is excited to once again offer Senior Parking Spot Painting for those eligible in the Class of 2027. With fewer seniors than in previous years, we have the opportunity to bring back this memorable event and allow eligible seniors to personalize their parking spaces while leaving a lasting legacy on our campus.

We cannot wait to see the creativity, school spirit, and Lion PRIDE our seniors bring to the Legacy Lot!

Legacy Lot Painting Days

 Friday, July 17, 2026

Friday, July 24, 2026

Time: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM (with arrival as early as 6:30AM- please do not arrive prior to 6:30AM).

Painting hours have been scheduled during the morning to help avoid the afternoon heat and potential summer storms.

Event Logistics

For the safety of all participants, a portion of the student parking lot will be closed to regular traffic during painting hours.

Please:

  • Park in a nearby designated area, not inside the coned-off painting zone.
  • Follow directions from staff and Senior Class Cabinet members throughout the event.

The Senior Class Cabinet will help make the day enjoyable by providing:

  • Music
  • Great vibes as you create memories with friends and family!
