Micromobility

Lake Nona High School announces Micromobility Policy registration begins, featuring scooter and electric bike icons.

Register Your Device Now-If Applicable

As you know, at the July 28th, 2026 School Board Meeting, a policy regarding micromobility devices (ebikes and escooters, etc.) was passed. In part, it states:

"Only high school students with a valid driver's license or learner’s driver license permit will be allowed to bring motorized micromobility devices on school property but must obtain a school-issued decal. They also must walk the device once they enter campus and must secure it in designated bicycle racks or other approved locations. Riding on sidewalks, courtyards, athletic fields, grass areas, or other pedestrian spaces is prohibited. Charging batteries or bringing detached batteries onto school property is also prohibited. Students will also be required to operate all devices safely and responsibly and must comply with all applicable laws, district policies, and school rules. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action and the loss of the privilege to bring a micromobility device onto school property."

Lake Nona High School students are now able to complete the Micromobility Device Registration Form and acknowledge the campus safety expectations. Once a student's registration has been reviewed and approved, they will receive a link to purchase a required school-issued decal. Decals have been ordered and are expected to arrive on September 8th.

  • Decals will be $15 through SchoolCash Online.
  • Approved students will be able to pick up their decal during lunch or immediately after school once the decals are delivered. More information to come.

Please register using the following link (must use Student School Google Account):

Micromobility Device Registration Form here.

Please note the following:

  • All devices must display our school-issued decal in an easily visible location.
  • Decals are not refundable and/or not transferable.
  • Schools are not responsible for any lost or stolen property.
  • Schools will not investigate any lost or stolen micromobility devices.

We encourage families to complete the registration form as soon as possible so applications can be reviewed before the decals arrive. Thank you for your continued support.
