Sunday Update: 9/28/2025

It’s going to be another amazing week a Lake Nona High School!

This week please note that we will be operating on an alternate bell schedule Tuesday through Friday to accommodate important testing and our much-anticipated Lion Link Activity.  Monday will follow our regular schedule. These adjustments help us ensure that every student has the opportunity to engage meaningfully, whether through academic assessments or community-building experiences.

Connection is key at Lake Nona, we believe every student should feel connected, whether to a peer, a trusted adult, or to our school itself. The best way to build that connection is through involvement. Encourage your student to participate in clubs, activities, and upcoming events. There’s truly something for everyone!

Parent Stakeholder Surveys – this week, we’ll be releasing our annual Parent Stakeholder Surveys. Your voice matters deeply to us. Please take a few moments to share your thoughts and celebrate the incredible work happening at Lake Nona High School. Your feedback helps us continue to prioritize safety, connection, academic growth, and excellence. Positive responses also support with positive enrollment, which allows us to offer more opportunities for our students! Thank you in advance for your support.

We’re entering one of the most exciting stretches of the school year! Here’s a glimpse of what’s ahead:

Senior Night for Girls Volleyball
College Visits
Lion Link Day
Fall Production: A Midsummer Night’s Dream
PSAT/SAT School Day
Hispanic Heritage Fair
Fall Orchestra & Chorus Concerts
Pink Out Football Game
Homecoming Week (HOCO): Spirit Days, Parade, Powder Puff Football, Pep Rally, Friday Night Lights, and our once-in-a-lifetime HOCO Dance

With so much happening, we encourage you to support your student in attending and participating, and we warmly welcome families to join us at these events whenever possible.

Let’s make it another unforgettable week at Lake Nona High School. Together, we continue to build a school where every student thrives.

I hope everyone has a great rest of their evening and as always, GO LIONS!

Thank you,

Mrs. Nikki Campbell
