CLEARANCE INFORMATION
TeachTix will allow ONLY cleared students to purchase tickets. If you are unable to purchase a ticket, it is likely because of one of the reasons listed below. See Ms. Miller in the courtyard during lunch if you think there is a mistake with your clearance status.
Any student who earned or earns a Level 3 or 4 referral during the current academic year is ineligible to attend Prom. Any student who has earned a level 4 referral for an altercation at Lake Nona High School during any school year is also ineligible.
All students must have a C or higher in all current classes and a C or higher in all classes until the date of the prom.
All students must have a current 2.0 unweighted GPA and a 2.0 GPA until the date of prom.
All students must have 10 or fewer unexcused absences during the second semester from January to the week prior to the event (or ticket will be refunded).
All students must have 20 or fewer unexcused tardies during the second semester from January to the week prior to the event.
Students who have missing credits in a class required for graduation will not be permitted to attend Prom (in progress courses are allowed). Additionally, students who are missing concordant scores for graduation required exams will not be permitted to attend prom.
Any student who is suspended during the week of Prom will not be permitted to participate in the event. There will be no refund.
GUEST CLEARANCE
All guest forms were due Wednesday 3/26 at 2pm and have been processed. No new guest forms will be distributed. If you have a guest form that was not turned in on time, please deliver it to 518 afterschool. We have a limited number of $120 guest tickets available starting April 4.
Turning in a guest form does NOT guarantee a guest ticket as tickets may sell out. OCPS students who invited guests received an email via their OCPS email with instructions on how to purchase guest tickets.
Additional Information
Students MUST be in the required dress code before arriving at Prom. Prom is a formal event.
All students will be screened via a metal detector and items will be searched. No bags, small clutch purses only.
Students and guests must arrive at the event prepared to conduct themselves as an appropriate representative of Lake Nona High School. Students who arrive at the event unprepared to follow the OCPS Code of Conduct or LNHS rules/procedures, will not be allowed to attend Prom and will be required to leave. Any student or guest not adhering to OCPS Code of Conduct or LNHS rules/procedures while at Prom will be removed from the event and required to have a parent/guardian pick them up.
